ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12864 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Community Education Center <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center is a private, non-profit agency that provides a <br />quality multicultural preschool experience for children from diverse backgrounds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center, has requested financial assistance for use by it <br />in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June <br />30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Community Education Center a private, non-profit agency the sum of Eight Thousand and <br />No/100 Dollars ($8,000) ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Community Education <br />Center has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE FI' RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8~26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Community Education Center a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
