0 R I G I N A L 7/29/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12837 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR <br /> FISCAL YEAR 1996-97 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII B of the Constitution of the Sate of California places various <br />limitations on the City's powers of appropriation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Division 9 of the Government Code (commencing with Section 7900) <br />provides for the implementation of Article XIII B by various procedures, including the <br />requirement that each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for <br />the following year; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> The Council does hereby establish as the appropriations limit for Fiscal Year 1996-97, <br /> the amount shown on Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
