DES:dj~ 07/02/96 (111/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 7/15/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12818 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING A 10 FOOT WIDE LANE AND RESERVING A <br /> 10 FOOT PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT BETWEEN OAK KNOLL DRIVE <br /> AND HETCH HETCHY RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br /> AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />its Resolution No. 12784, adopted June 10, 1996, declared its <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described 10 foot wide lane <br />and reserving a 10 foot public service easement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described 10 <br />foot wide lane and reserving a 10 foot public service easement <br />has been published and posted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing on the question of vacating said <br />10 foot wide lane while reserving a 10 foot public service <br /> <br />easement has been held and evidence thereon received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br />hereinafter described 10 foot wide lane is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br />lane vacated while reserving a public service easement between <br />Oak Knoll Drive and Hetch Hetchy right-of-way in the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
