(209) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on August 26, 2019. <br />Present: Councilmembers Aguirre, Borgens, Hale, Howard, Masur, Reddy, and Mayor Bain <br />M/S Masur/Aguirre to: <br />1. Approve the revised Boards, Commissions and Committees Attendance Policy (BCC <br />Attendance Policy) clarifying that the policy applies to all Boards, Commissions and <br />Committees (BCCs), clarifying removal procedures for certain BCC members for non- <br />attendance reasons in order to align with the City Charter, clarifying that a member must be <br />present for at least fifty percent (50%) of a meeting to be counted as present, and clarifying <br />that if a meeting is cancelled for lack of business, Election Day, summer recess, or winter <br />recess, that meeting will not be factored into the calculation of the percentage of absences <br />by a member over a twelve month consecutive period. <br />2. Waive the first reading and introduce an Ordinance Amending Redwood City Code <br />Section 2.102 (Vacancies; Removal of Members) of Article IX (Boards and Commissions) of <br />Chapter 2 (Administration) of the Redwood City Code. <br />=qaCnir byelectronic vote. <br />Pamela Aguila, <br />City Clerk <br />
