_ 0 R I G I N A L DES:dju 05/21/96 (001/42) <br /> ~ _ 6/10/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12791 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> REPORT <br /> (LCP ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the preparation <br />of an environmental impact report ("EIR") to analyze the possible <br />significant impacts of the development for the MidPoint <br />Technology Park and to satisfy the requirements of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") for the area bounded by the <br />Bayshore Freeway, Douglas Street, Second Avenue and Bay Road in <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br />City requires professional environmental analysis services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, LCP Associates of Los Altos, California represents <br /> that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to <br /> <br />perform the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Preparation of <br />an Environmental Impact Report (EIR)" (form dated 05/21/96), by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California and LCP Associates, for the performance <br />of the above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br />and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
