19191PAiIN@]§I <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15101 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br />TO RE- ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Department has requested <br />that the job classification of Building Official be reinstated (Redwood City Management <br />Employees' Association); and <br />WHEREAS, based on the analysis, it was determined that it would be <br />appropriate to restructure the department, including the reinstatement of the Building <br />Official classification; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification of Building Official was prepared by Human <br />Resources and the Community Development Serviced Department to ensure it meets <br />the foreseeable needs of the organization; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the Building Official classification should be a <br />management position and established with a pay range of $9,553 to $11,464 per month; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2.
