04/11/2011 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15106 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE TERMS OF <br /> EMPLOYMENT FOR ROBERT B. BELL FOR THE POSITION OF CITY <br /> MANAGER <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council appointed Robert B. Bell Interim City Manager effective <br /> November 15, 2010 following the resignation of then City Manager Peter C. Ingram; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint Mr. Bell as City Manager effective April <br /> 11,2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bell has served the City for five years as Human Resource Director, two <br /> years as Assistant City Manager, and has served as Interim City Manager, the City Council <br /> finds that he possesses the specialized skills and experience necessary to fulfill the duties of the <br /> City Manager position. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Robert B. Bell's appointment to City Manager of the City of Redwood City is <br /> effective April 11, 2011. <br /> 2. The terms of employment for the position of City Manager are as stated in the <br /> Employment Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> 3.
