03/20/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION N0.15175 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br /> TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATION OF ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT MANAGER <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the position of Economic <br /> Development Manager be established; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the position should be created to support <br /> economic development initiatives according to the needs of the organization; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications of Economic Development Manager <br /> were prepared by the Human Resources Department and the City Manager to ensure <br /> the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the Economic Development Manager <br /> classification should be an executive management position and established with a pay <br /> range of $10,745 to $13,641 per month; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
