03/25/2013 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15252 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION FOR THE POSITION OF <br /> PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Director has requested that the <br /> position of Public Works Superintendent be amended; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the job description should be amended to <br /> define changes in management responsibilities for various City functions and processes <br /> according to the needs of the organization; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specification of Public Works Superintendent was <br /> prepared by the Human Resources Department and the Community Development <br /> Director to ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the Public Works Superintendent <br /> classification should remain a Redwood City Management Employees Association <br /> position and the salary range should remain the same at $8,805.00 to $10,567.00 per <br /> month; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
