06/24/2013 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15279 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY WAIVING NOTICE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN <br /> MATEO'S LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY (TWO CIRCLE STAR <br /> PLAZA PARKING GARAGE) <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code § 25351(b), provides that <br /> whenever the board of supervisors of a county decides to enter into a lease of an <br /> existing building within the incorporated territory of a city, the board shall notify in <br /> writing, at least 60 days prior to going to bid or entering into a lease, the city clerk <br /> of the city where the building is to be constructed, expanded, or leased, and <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code § 25351(d), provides that the <br /> 60-day notification requirements imposed by subdivisions (b) and (c) may be <br /> waived if the city council consents, by resolution, thereto, and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has notified the city clerk that the <br /> County plans to enter into a lease for the premises located at Two Circle Star <br /> Plaza, in the City of San Carlos, which lease would include the use of the parking <br /> facility located within incorporated Redwood City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has requested that the City waive <br /> the 60-day notification requirement, and this City Council has considered said <br /> request and wishes to comply and to waive the 60-day notice. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THAT; <br /> Pursuant to Government Code § 25351(d), the City of Redwood City <br /> hereby waives the 60-day notice requirement for the County of San Mateo's <br /> proposed lease of the premises located at Two Circle Star Plaza, San Carlos, <br /> California. <br /> * * * <br /> ATTY/RE50.2880/WAIVING NOTICE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO LEASE RESO.#15279 <br /> OF REAL PROPERTY—TWO CIRCLE STAR PLAZA PARKING GARAGE MUFF#609 <br /> REV:06-20-13 PT <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
