06/22/2015 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15422 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN <br /> TO REINSTATE THE CLASSIFICATION OF DEPUTY CITY ATTORNEY <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the classification of Deputy <br /> City Attorney be reinstated to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications were prepared by Human Resources <br /> staff in consultation with department management, to ensure the foreseeable needs of <br /> the organization are met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted salary studies and recommend <br /> the salary range as listed in Exhibit "A".; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Deputy City Attorney shall have benefits as established in the <br /> Executive Management Summary of Benefits except that just as when this classification <br /> was previously authorized, the in-lieu benefit is established at eighty (80) hours. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Amend the City's Classification and Salary Plan to reinstate the <br /> classification of Deputy City Attorney, as listed in Exhibit "A". <br /> 2.
