ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15459 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING THE SALARY PLAN FOR EXECUTIVE <br /> MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Council has previously approved amendments to <br /> Executive Management Summary of Benefits, which include increased employee <br /> contributions to the City's share of pension and elimination of employer-paid member <br /> contributions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Council authorized no cost of living increases for <br /> executive management positions in 2014-2015 and wishes to acknowledge the increase <br /> in pension contributions, as well as increases in cost of living; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Executive Management Summary of Benefits, Council <br /> wishes to maintain a ten percent (10%) differential between all Executive Management <br /> positions and subordinate classifications. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Redwood City as follows: <br /> 1. Salary ranges for all Executive Management classifications shall be <br /> increased by the sum of seven and one-half percent (7.5%). <br /> 2. The maximum salary for the positions of Fire Chief, Police Chief, Deputy <br /> Police Chief, Police Captain, Information Technology Manager, and Community <br /> Development Services Manager - Engineering shall be increased to ten percent (10%) <br /> above the maximum salary of the highest paid subordinate classification. <br /> 3. The amended salary ranges for all Executive Management classifications, <br /> shall be effective July 1, 2015. <br /> 4.
