03/28/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15480 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY APPROVING THE APPLICATION SUBMITTAL AND RELATED <br /> AUTHORIZATIONS FOR THE BEVERAGE CONTAINER RECYCLING <br /> PAYMENT PROGRAM THROUGH CALRECYCLE <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Public Resources Code sections 48000 et seq . , 14581 , <br /> and 42023 . 1 (g) . the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has <br /> established various payment programs to make payments to qualifying jurisdictions; and <br /> WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority CalRecycle is required to establish <br /> procedures governing the administration of the payment programs ; and <br /> WHEREAS, CalRecycle's procedures for administering payment programs <br /> require, among other things , an applicant's governing body to declare by resolution <br /> certain authorizations related to the administration of the payment program . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City is <br /> authorized to submit an application to CalRecycle for any and all payment programs <br /> offered ; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager, or his/her designee, is <br /> hereby authorized as Signature Authority to execute all documents necessary to <br /> implement and secure payment; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this authorization is effective until rescinded <br /> by the Signature Authority or this governing body. <br /> ATTY/RESO.0020/CC RESO AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF CALRECYCLE GRANT APPLICATION RESO. # 15480 <br /> REV: 03-14-16 FF MUFF # 505 <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
