06/27/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15505 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S <br /> CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN TO CREATE THE <br /> CLASSIFICATIONS OF ASSISTANT CITY CLERK AND SENIOR <br /> ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY, AND ELIMINATE THE <br /> CLASSIFICATION OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that new classifications be <br /> established to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit "A" were <br /> prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br /> ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization are met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted salary studies and met and <br /> conferred with the Redwood City Management Employees' Association, and reached <br /> agreement on the recommended salary ranges as listed in Exhibit "A." <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2. Exhibit "A", Amendments to the City's Classification and Salary Plan is <br /> approved and adopted to establish the classifications of Assistant City Clerk and Senior <br /> Assistant City Attorney and set the salary ranges, as described in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto. <br /> 3.
