DES: dj~ 05/28/96 (064/32) <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L --6/10/96 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 12785 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ASPHALT CONCRETE <br /> MATERIALS, FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, contract documents and specifications for the <br />purchase of asphalt concrete materials to maintain public streets <br />in the City of Redwood City, have been presented to, and reviewed <br />by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval <br />thereof and authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for <br /> <br />the purchase of said asphalt concrete materials; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Those certain contract documents and specifications <br />entitled "Contract Documents and Specifications for Right-of-Way <br />Maintenance, and Utilities, Operations and Maintenance Divisions <br />1996-97 - Asphalt Concrete Materials - July 1, 1996 - June 30, <br />1997 - City of Redwood City, California", prepared by the Public <br />Works Services Director, a copy of which documents are on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids as called for in the abovementioned <br />specifications. <br /> <br /> <br />
