10/01/2018 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15706 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING A SIDE LETTER OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION <br />OF FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL 2400, AND WITH THE POLICE <br />SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION, TO AMEND THE MEMORANDA OF <br />UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE PARTIES <br />WHEREAS, The City and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) <br />Local 2400 have met and conferred on changes to the 2014-2016 Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU); and the City and the Police Supervisors Association (PSA) have <br />met and conferred on changes to the 2015-2016 MOU; and <br />WHEREAS, In order to comply with CalPERS requirements regarding special <br />compensation, the 2014-2016 MOU between the City and [AFF Local 2400, and the <br />2015-2016 MOU between the City and PSA must be amended; and <br />WHEREAS, The City and [AFF, and the City and PSA have reached agreement <br />on the amendments to the MOUs, as described in Exhibits A and B. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The MOU between the City and [AFF Local 2400 shall be amended as <br />described in Exhibit A. <br />2. The MOU between the City and PSA shall be amended as described in <br />Exhibit B. <br />3.
