05/06/2019 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15761 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 <br />FOR REORGANIZATIONS OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY MANAGER, <br />AND PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENTS <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City's existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk, City Manager, and Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Departments have the need to restructure staffing to provide greater capacity <br />to support City Council's strategic initiatives; and <br />WHEREAS, an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget is required to <br />accomplish this restructuring. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget is amended to replace current <br />classifications in each department as follows: one full-time Management Analyst I in <br />place of one full-time vacant Administrative Secretary classification in City Clerk's <br />department; one full-time Management Analyst I in place of one full-time vacant <br />Communications Multimedia Analyst classification and one full-time Director of <br />Community Development and Transportation in place of one full-time vacant Assistant <br />City Manager/Community Development Director in the City Manager's department; and <br />three additional Recreation and Community Services Program Coordinator positions in <br />place of one full-time vacant Recreation Supervisor and other vacant permanent part- <br />time benefited positions equivalent to 3.2 full-time positions. <br />ATTY/RESO.0044/CC RESO AMENDING FY 18-19 BUDGETED POSITIONS RESO.
