~ 0 R I G I N A L ~ 6/3/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12774 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> (FRIENDLY ACRES HEALTHY START PROGRAM - TAFT SCHOOL) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City (the "School District") School District <br />conducts a program known as the Taft School Friendly Acres Healthy Start <br />Program (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, School District has requested assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to assist the School District by providing (1) School District with a staff <br />member to serve on the Healthy Start Collaborative Management Council on a <br />part time basis; (2) coordination*services; and (3) a recreational leader on a part <br />time basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, School District will reimburse City for the services rendered <br />by the recreational leader up to the sum of Twelve Thousand and no/100 Dollars <br />($12,000.00); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such services has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />
