2/28/00 <br />0 R I G I i l A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13840 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSYEM <br />DESIGN AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR THE PENINSULA <br />NO. 1 WATER TANK REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />(HARCO /CPS WATERWORKS) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the design and installation <br />of a Cathodic Protection System for the Peninsula No. 1 Water Tank in the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting engineering services; and <br />WHEREAS, HARCO /CPS Waterworks of Glendale, Arizona, represents <br />that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid <br />services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement — Professional Consulting <br />Engineering Services - Cathodic Protection System Design and Installation for <br />the Peninsula No. 1 Water Tank Rehabilitation Project," (form dated 02/11/00), <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and HARCO /CPS Waterworks for the performance of the above- <br />Reso -826 1 <br />DES:djk <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />02/10/00 <br />
