3/13/00 <br />0 I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13847 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PENINSULA NO. 1 <br />WATER TANK REHABILITATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13816, adopted January 24, <br />2000, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Peninsula No. 1 Water Tank <br />Rehabilitation Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Robison - Prezioso, Inc. of Santa Fe Springs, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Robison - Prezioso, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Robison - Prezioso, Inc. in the amount of Six Hundred Sixty- <br />nine Thousand Fifty and No /100 Dollars ($669,050.00), computed in accordance <br />with bidder's proposal dated February 14, 2000 for the Peninsula No. 1 Water <br />Tank Rehabilitation Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />2.
