O R I G I N A L 4/24/00 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13888 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SPORT FIELD <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT TAFT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13824, adopted February 7, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Sport Field Improvement Project at Taft <br />Elementary School in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Valley Crest, Inc. of Pleasanton, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Valley Crest, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
