6/26/00 <br />0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13q2-9 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE STULSAFT PARK <br />PLAY AREA RENOVATIONS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13895, adopted May 8, 2000, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Stulsaft Park Play Area Renovations in the <br />City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. of Danville, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. in the amount of Five Hundred <br />Twenty Four Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($524,000.00), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 7, 2000 for the Stulsaft Park Play <br />Area Renovations, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />2.
