_ 7/24/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13950 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br />AND /OR REPAIR OF PUMPS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br />STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the replacement and /or repair of pumps for the various pumps stations in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Pump Repair Service Company of Daly City, California, for <br />pump replacement and /or repair, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Pump Repair Service <br />Company; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Pump Repair Service Company, in the total amount of Two <br />Hundred Thirty -eight Thousand One Hundred Two and No /100 Dollars <br />($238,102.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June <br />20, 2000, for the replacement and /or repair of water, storm and sanitary sewer <br />pumps, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />Reso -939 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />07/11/00 <br />
