8/28/00 <br />0 R I G I id A L <br />(07/10/00) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14007 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) is a <br />private, non - profit organization that provides programs which serve the needs of youth and families in <br />high -risk situations and provides readily accessible help to people in their time of greatest need, which <br />services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center), <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Youth and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) to <br />provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth <br />and Family Assistance (Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center) a copy of which agreement is <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
