10/16/00 <br />0RIGI NAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14051 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />UTILITY SYSTEM MATERIALS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of utility system materials for the Utility Operation and <br />Maintenance Division of the Public Works Services Department of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Roberts & Brune Co. of Redwood City, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />accept the bid of Roberts & Brune Co.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
