10/23/00 <br />0 R 16 I N .A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14076 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ( "City ") requires legal services for <br />performing revenue protection services and assisting City and City's consultant <br />( "MMC ") in connection with legal issues that arise in the audit and compliance <br />activities performed by MMC; and <br />WHEREAS, Donald H. Maynor, A Professional Corporation, Atherton, <br />California ( "Firm "), represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified <br />to perform the aforesaid services for the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Legal Services Agreement" (form dated <br />10/12/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California, and Donald H. Maynor, a Professional Corporation, for <br />the performance of the above- mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager and City <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to attest thereto, <br />respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -1018 <br />FXS:rg <br />F: /sh /sh /Redwood /Counci I <br />10/13/00 <br />
