12/4/00 <br />0 R I a I A A L _ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14091 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD <br />SHORES STREET SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13958, adopted July 24, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Street System <br />Improvements Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, RGW Construction Inc. of Livermore, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to RGW Construction Inc; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of RGW Construction Inc. in the amount of Two Million Two <br />Hundred Twenty -nine Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-three and 55/100 <br />Dollars ($2,229,323.55), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br />October 18, 2000 for the Redwood Shores Street System Improvements Project, <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -1029 1 <br />F:/Sh ared/Redwood/Cou nci I <br />DES:djk <br />11/06/00 <br />
