Q. 14093 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE <br />CENTER PERIMETER FENCE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />(PHASE II); AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14048 adopted October 16, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Municipal Service Center Perimeter <br />Fence Replacement Project (Phase II); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Northern California Fence Co. of Redwood City, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />accept the bid of said Northern California Fence Co.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Northern California Fence Co., in the total amount of <br />Twenty -five Thousand Five Hundred Fifteen and 20/100 Dollars ($25,515.20) <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November 8, 2000 for <br />the Municipal Service Center Perimeter Fence Replacement Project (Phase II), is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -1038 1 <br />DES:djk <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />11/17/00 <br />
