12/4/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14096 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 2000 -2001 WATER <br />QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14049, adopted October 16, <br />2000, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 2000 -2001 Water Quality <br />Monitoring Program; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one bid was received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Scientific Environmental Lab., Inc. of Palo Alto, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Scientific Environmental Lab., Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Scientific Environmental Lab., Inc. in the amount of Forty- <br />eight Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-four and 40/100 Dollars ($48,974.40), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 10, 2000 for the <br />2000 -2001 Water Quality Monitoring Program is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br />Reso -1042 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F /Shared /Redwood /Counci <br />11/22/00 <br />
