0RI C, I:JILL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14135 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF CITY -OWNED <br />SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE REDWOOD CITY POLICE <br />ACTIVITIES LEAGUE <br />1/29/01 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13978 entitled, "Resolution <br />Declaring Certain Described City -owned Property Surplus; and Authorizing Sale <br />Thereof," adopted August 14, 2000, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />declared a list of City -owned property surplus; and <br />WHEREAS, included on the list of City -owned property was a 1986 <br />Chevrolet van which was not sold; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37351 and Redwood <br />City Charter Section 3- 1/2(d), the City may dispose of surplus property no longer <br />required or needed for present or prospective municipal purposes without sale; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to authorize the <br />conveyance of the 1986 Chevrolet van to the Redwood City Police Activities <br />League in accordance with Section 37351 of the Government Code and Section <br />3- 1/2(d) of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso-1074 1 <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Counci I <br />DES:djk <br />01/18/01 <br />
