3/12/01 <br />0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14166 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR CASA DE REDWOOD FOUNDATION <br />(BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS) <br />WHEREAS, the Casa de Redwood Foundation (Contractor) provides housing <br />and related supportive services for low and moderate income seniors who are residents of <br />the City of Redwood City (the Program); <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Ninety Seven Thousand, Six Hundred and no /100 <br />Dollars ($97,600) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Casa de Redwood Foundation <br />Building Improvements (form dated March 6, 2001) by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Casa de Redwood Foundation, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br />
