3/26/01 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14171 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />FOR THE REPAIR AND INSTALLATION OF THE OUTFIELD <br />FENCE AT HAWES SOFTBALL FIELD <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the repair and installation of the outfield fence at Hawes softball field in the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Anchor Fence Company, Inc. of South San Francisco, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Council to accept the bid of Anchor Fence Company, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Anchor Fence Company, Inc. for the repair and installation <br />of the outfield fence at Hawes softball field to the City of Redwood City in the <br />amount of Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -four and No /100 Dollars <br />($16,984.00), and in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated February 20, <br />2001, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for <br />the repair and installation of fencing. <br />Reso -1115 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />F: /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />03/20/01 <br />
