OPIC dAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14227 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br />FOR TRAFFIC STUDY /ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS OF 709 <br />WOODSIDE ROAD <br />(FEHR & PEERS ASSOCIATES, INC.) <br />5/21/01 <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed reconstruction and <br />expansion of a McDonalds restaurant at 709 Woodside Road in the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines "; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that the traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and <br />documentation shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with <br />Consultant subject to funding therefore by McDonalds Corporation (the <br />"Developer'); and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with the City of Redwood City <br />the estimated fees and costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and <br />Reso -1108 1 <br />Shared/ Redwood/Council <br />FXS:djk <br />05/09/01 <br />
