7/30/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1,d 9 q - 4 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL LEGAL COUNSEL SERVICES <br />(FRANCOIS X. SORBA) <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to employ Francois X. Sorba for Special <br />Legal Counsel Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said employment are set forth in <br />the agreement hereinafter referenced; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain letter agreement entitled, "Special Legal Counsel Services" <br />(form dated 07- 24 -01), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and Francois X. Sorba ( "Special Legal <br />Counsel "), setting forth the terms and conditions of Special Legal Counsel <br />Services be provided by said Special Legal Counsel, a copy of which agreement <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br />for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk <br />are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -1212 <br />DES:rg <br />F:/sh /sh /Redwood /Council <br />07/24/01 <br />
