8/13/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RES0LUT10N N0. 14 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 2001 -2002; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution duly approved by this Council on <br />June 11, 2001, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 2001 -2002 <br />Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Project; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, these bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contract Documents provide that the City of Redwood <br />City is granted four (4) consecutive yearly options to extend the term of the <br />contract under the same terms and conditions, and <br />WHEREAS, Arboricultural Specialties, Inc. dba The Professional Tree <br />Care ( "The Professional Tree Care Company "), of Berkeley, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Arboricultural Specialties, Inc. dba The Professional Tree <br />Care; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso -0137 1 <br />FXS -dr <br />F: S hared \Shared\Redwood \Counci l <br />08/03/01 <br />
