08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14336 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS <br />YOUTH <br />(YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Contractor) conducts a shelter for <br />homeless youth program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty and no /100 <br />Dollars ($18,350.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Daybreak Shelter for Homeless <br />Youth," (form dated 8/15/01), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth and <br />
