__ 08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1.1365 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE — YOUR <br />HOUSE SOUTH <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance is a private, non - profit organization <br />that provides a comprehensive network of services that decrease high risk behaviors, <br />increases self - reliance and strengthens healthy family environments for youth and <br />families, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001 and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />enter into an agreement with Youth and Family Assistance to provide financial <br />assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth and <br />Family Assistance, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br />and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -0129 <br />F: /S h a red /Redwood /Council <br />FXS-dr <br />08/02/01 <br />
