09/10/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14374 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE EL CAMINO REAL MEDIANS LANDSCAPING <br />PROJECT <br />(SMITH -EMERY COMPANY) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional consulting services in <br />connection with the El Camino Real Medians Landscaping Project in the City of Redwood City <br />(the "Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional consulting <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, Smith -Emery Company of San Francisco, California, represents that it <br />possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br />Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting Services — El <br />Camino Real Medians Landscaping Project', by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and Smith -Emery Company, for the <br />performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />FCdN100 t S cared /Rcnvn ,ud /Gnun iI /Tip 1 F:i6 <br />
