A 1417g <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASE OF ONE (1) WASTEWATER PUMP UNDER THE <br />COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF <br />PISMO BEACH'S PURCHASE ORDER NO. 890 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 2.80 of the Redwood City <br />Code, the City of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase materials, <br />equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pismo Beach Purchase Order No. 890 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase equipment from Paco Pumps of Oakland, California; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Pismo Beach conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br />8 -inch wastewater pump from Paco Pumps pursuant to the Cooperative <br />Purchase Provision of the City of Pismo Beach's Purchase Order No. 890; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />and execute all necessary and appropriate documents (in form approved by the <br />City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of <br />one (1) Wastewater Pump from Paco Pumps for a total cost of Fifty -Six <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty -Seven and 72/100 Dollars ($56,827.72) <br />F:Atty2001 Shared/Redwood/Council/Reso/Reso-1 239 1 <br />
