3/25/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14426 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING SAN MATEO COUNTY LOCAL <br />AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION APPROVAL OF <br />PROPOSED WATER SERVICE EXTENSION <br />(APN 057- 202 -070 & 057 - 212 -190) <br />WHEREAS, the owner of property located at 535 Summit Drive <br />(designated by Assessor's Parcels No. [ "APN "] 057 - 202 -070 & 057 - 212 -190) (the <br />"Property ") has applied to the City of Redwood City ( "City ") for connection of the <br />Property to the City's potable water service system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Property is located in the unincorporated area of San <br />Mateo County within the City's existing water service area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 56133 the San <br />Mateo County Local Agency Formation Commission is hereby requested to <br />approve connection of the Property to the City's existing potable water service <br />system; provided, that said request is made without prejudice to contest the <br />applicability of said Section with respect to properties located within the City's <br />existing water service area in the unincorporated area of said County. <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reso.1290 1 <br />031502 <br />
