<br />1/9/2006 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14686 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSPORTATION IMPACT FEE <br />ACCOUNT REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004/2005 AND ADOPTING <br />FINDINGS REQUIRED BY THE MITIGATION FEE ACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of Article XV (commencing with Section 18.244) of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Municipal Code authorizes imposition of transportation impact fees for <br /> <br />new development in the City (the "Transportation Impact Fee Ordinance"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed that certain report entitled, "City of <br /> <br />Redwood City Transportation Impact Fee Account Report - Fiscal Year 2004/2005," <br /> <br />dated December 22,2005 (the "Account Report"), which shows the source and amount <br /> <br />of revenues and capital improvements and traffic reduction measures that were <br /> <br />financed in whole or in part by the impact fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Account Report was made available to the public within 180 <br /> <br />days after the last day of the fiscal year, and not less than 15 days before the next <br /> <br />regularly scheduled meeting of this Council on January 9, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Government Code Section 66001 (d) requires certain findings to be <br /> <br />made regarding unexpended impact fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there continues to be a distinct nexus between new development <br /> <br />and the necessity to mitigate the impacts of such development on traffic circulation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1.
