<br />08/28/06 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14731 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SEWER <br />CONNECTION PERMIT TO 1700 FERNS IDE STREET (TOWN OF <br />WOODSIDE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo Environmental Health Office has <br /> <br />determined that the existing septic sewer system servicing the real property located at <br /> <br />1700 Fernside Street is not functioning properly and poses a threat to public health and <br /> <br />safety; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above-described real property is within the Town of Woodside; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the failed septic sewer system of the subject real property <br /> <br />represents an extraordinary or exceptional circumstance because Redwood City <br /> <br />Residents are located down-gradient of the failed septic sewer system, and is therefore <br /> <br />a threat to Redwood City Residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Woodside has no sewer system servicing this area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the only municipality near enough to <br /> <br />serve the subject property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owners of the above-described property have <br /> <br />requested connection to the City's sewer line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 27.53 Inter-Area Connections of the Municipal Code allows <br /> <br />for such sewer connections with the consent of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 27.101 Wastewater Treatment Capacity Fee; requires fees <br /> <br />to be paid by the property owner. <br /> <br />A TTY/RESO/RESO.1635 <br />082106 <br /> <br />14731 <br />Muff # 802 <br /> <br />1 <br />
