<br />06/04/2007 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14783 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING REVISED <br />ATTACHMENT Q OF THE ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there now exists and is in effect Engineering Standards for <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City to include Water Demand Projection Criteria, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised Attachment Q is part of the Engineering <br /> <br />Standards for the City of Redwood City for calculating water demand projections. <br /> <br />The last update was approved by Council on December 4, 2006. Since then, <br /> <br />additional updates to the water demand projection criteria were incorporated into <br /> <br />Attachment Q based on sources such as the 2000 census data, the 2001 version <br /> <br />of the California Building Code, and recent empirical studies of projected water <br /> <br />demand by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission that incorporate water- <br /> <br />efficient plumbing fixtures and appliances. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised Attachment Q of the Engineering Standards for <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, has been reviewed by the appropriate members of City <br /> <br />staff. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />ATTY/RESO/RESO.1709 <br />052207 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />14783 <br />Muff #802 <br />
