<br />11/10/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14908 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 1-64 <br />BUDGET TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009, APPROPRIATING AND <br />CANCELLING CERTAIN FUNDS FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES DURING <br />FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br /> <br />that change or modify the City's existing and approved budgets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 28, 2008, City Council approved a mid-year budget <br /> <br />amendment to the GID 1-64 fund budget to include the GID 1-64 appropriations in the <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Capital Improvement Program budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution is necessary in order to establish new appropriations for <br /> <br />the Exterior Levee Certification Project, Predator Management Environmental <br /> <br />Compliance Project, Shoreline Park, and the Shoreline Park Restroom Project from the <br /> <br />unbudgeted fund balance of the GID 1-64, and to cancel previously appropriated funds <br /> <br />for the New School Playfield in Area H. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Fiscal year 2008-2009 GID 1-64 Fund Budget is hereby amended to <br /> <br />make new appropriations and to cancel a prior appropriation as shown on Attachment 1, <br /> <br />a table entitled, "Capital Improvement Project - Five-Year Program GID 1-64," dated <br /> <br />July 15, 2008, and as follows: <br /> <br />A.
