<br />CGM:yc:8/4/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8659 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 11 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE- <br />MENT WITH PENINSULA CELEBRATION ASSOCIATION FOR <br />PROMOTIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Celebration Association is an organization <br /> <br />that provides promotional services to public entitites; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has determined that community <br /> <br />promotion is vital to the present and future well-being of all <br /> <br />segments of the public of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement with <br /> <br />the Peninsula Celebration Association by which certain promotional <br /> <br />activities will be undertaken by the Association in consideration <br /> <br />of the payment of the sum of Two Thousand and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($2,000.00) to Association; <br /> <br />NO~'V , THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the Peninsula Celebration Association, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8659 <br />
