<br />SWC:bc 8/14/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 866fi <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 1 8 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH GEORGE HILLS COMPANY, INC., FOR CLAIMS <br />ADMINISTRATION SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council terminated the Liability Claims <br /> <br />Administration Contract with R.L. Kautz by adoption of Minute <br /> <br />Order No. 80-96 on June 23, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is acknowledged that professional claims <br /> <br />administration services are necessary for the efficient handling <br /> <br />of Redwood City's self-insurance program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />for such professional claims adminstrations services by the George <br /> <br />Hills Company, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement, to be effective September 1, 1980; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDvlOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement Self-Insurance Claims <br /> <br />Administration Services" (form dated 8/l4/80RR), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and George Hills Company, Inc., a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved 4 The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br />said agreement on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8666 <br />
