<br />SWC:bc 8/18/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8684 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREE~rnNT WITH EI1ERGENCY HUNGER FUND OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing short term <br /> <br />emergency food, clothing, housing and transportation assistance <br /> <br />to residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980 and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City, -the sum of <br /> <br />Six Thousand and NO/lOO Dollars ($6,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger <br /> <br />Fund of Redwood City, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOv.7S: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/18/80), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8684 <br />
