<br />.' . <br /> <br />SWC:wb 9/18/80 <br /> <br />8696 <br /> <br />ORIG1NAL <br />SEP 22 1980 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION <br />WITH REMODELING OF THE VETER~NS MEMORIAL BUILDING <br />AND CONSTRUCTION OF SENIOR SERVICES CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert architec- <br /> <br />tural service in connection with the remodeling of the Veterans <br /> <br />Memorial Building and construction of an adjacent senior services <br /> <br />center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kingsford Jones, Architects, has represented to the <br /> <br />City that it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all <br /> <br />of the services referred to aforesaid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Kingsford Jones, <br /> <br />Architects, for the performance of the aforesaid architectural <br /> <br />services, and_it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOv~S: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />9/18/80) by and between the City of Redwood City and Kingsford <br /> <br />Jones, Architects, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is made for <br /> <br />the full terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8696 <br />
