<br />.,," <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />SWC:ks 9/26/80 <br />10/2/80R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 870 3 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET LIGHT MODIFICATION <br />PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />OCT <br /> <br />6 198Q <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8670, adopted August 18, <br /> <br />1980, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of the <br /> <br />street light modification project in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC., San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and. desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC. in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Three and No/lOa <br />Dollars ($185,543.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated September 16, 1980, for street light modifications according <br /> <br />to those certain plans entitled "Street Lighting Modification - 1980" <br /> <br />and those special provisions entitled "Special Provisions and Plans <br /> <br />for the Street Light Modification Project - Phase II," is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />
