<br />- <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 10/23/80 <br />CGM;wb 10/23/80 R <br /> <br />8 719 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 7 1980 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />BICYCLE LOCKERS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br />FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council, based upon the information provided by <br /> <br />the Director of Public 'Works, has determined that bicycle lockers <br /> <br />are available from a single source only, and has suspended the <br /> <br />bidding requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code for the purchase thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bike Lockers Ltd., West Sacramento, California has <br /> <br />submitted a price quotation (bid) to the City for the delivery and <br /> <br />installation of 55 Bike Locker Units which this Council desires to <br /> <br />accept and to enter into an agreement with Bike Lockers Ltd. for <br /> <br />the purchase thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bike Lockers Ltd., in the total amount of <br /> <br />Twenty-one Thousand Two Hundred and No/lOO Dollars ($21,200.00) <br /> <br />for the delivery and installation of 55 bicycle lockers in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated October 6, 1980, is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 10/23/80) by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Bike Lockers Ltd. for the performance <br /> <br />of said work, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />~~~~;~",~~c ~~n~n~n;nN +ho +ormc ~n~ ~nn~;r;nnq rnprpof_ <br />
